Our mission is to serve youth in a conservation-minded service and educational experience.

 

At the WCCC, young people are given the opportunity to serve on regional conservation projects.

 

Our goals are to:

 

• Provide meaningful service to public land managers

• Ensure WCCC Corpsmembers have skills to obtain future employment or formal education

• Foster respect and understanding of environmental stewardship

• Build relationships and participate in team-building in diverse groups

• Teach a strong sense of pride in accomplishments, while promoting community involvement and development

• Bring together local conservation and community service agencies, non-profit organizations and community members
